映画「たんたかたん」公式サイトに訪問いただきありがとうございます。この映画には、実は実験的で面白い試みがひっそりと組み込まれています。それは、物語の登場人物のセリフは全て「５７５」あるいは「５７５７７」という俳句・短歌の音律の繰り返しから出来ているという事実です。

この企画は「偶然短歌」というモチーフを知ったことから立ち上がりました。実は「偶然短歌」の存在を知るまでは全く気づかなかったのですが、私たちの生活の中には短歌や俳句のリズムや旋律がひっそりと、いやいや、実際には『実に堂々と存在していること』を再発見したとき、これはすごく面白い素材だなと感じたわけです。そして、これがこの映画の「種」になったわけです。

私たちの何気ない毎日の生活。日常は退屈で刺激がないもの。日々の生活はありきたりで、ともすれば変化のない無限の繰り返し。そんな風に考えている人は、実は案外たくさんいるのではないかと僕は想像します。実際、統計から見ても、私たちの毎日の活動はそのほどんどが昨日の繰り返しだそうです。

けれど、日々の自分の言葉や生活の中に、実は不思議なリズムや音律が存在していると発見できれば、私たちはとても興味深い世界に生きているんだなということが実感できるんじゃないだろうか。そんな風に僕は思ったのです。そしてその気づきのきっかけさえあれば、世界の見え方だって、昨日まで感じていた世界とは一変してもっと魅力的なものに変貌するんじゃないか、何気ない日常が、実はとても豊かなものだと感じられるんじゃないだろうか？ そんな思いから映画「たんたかたん」の構想を練り始めたわけです。

この映画は、４０代を目前にしたアラフォー女性４人が主人公のお話です。

映画の主人公たちは、東京の音楽大学時代にカルテット（弦楽四重奏）を組んでいた仲良し４人組。音楽を通じて青春時代を深く共有した彼女たちも現在は３７歳になり、それぞれが悩みを抱えながら毎日の生活を送っています。ところが、ある時、かつてカルテットメンバーの一人だったマイが結婚するという突然の知らせが届きます。５年もの間、音信普通だったマイのその知らせが、カルテット仲間の亜衣子・有希・公恵の３人の生活に小さな波紋を投げかけることになります。

そんな彼女たちが奏でる喜びや悩みの『弦楽四重奏』を是非感じて欲しいと思います。

This short film "Prime Songs" has an experimental attempt. All the dialogue appearing in this story are made of Tanka and Haiku rhythm.  that is true. Isn't it interesting?

This movie was born by knowing "accidental tanka". When I rediscovered the rhythm and melody of a tanka and a haiku in our life, I felt this was a very interesting material of filmmaking.

Usually people say everyday life is ordinaryly boring, because it is iterative without change. However, if we could discover the prime rhythm or tone in our own words and lives, we might come to realize we are living in a very interesting world. And if there is such awareness, I thougt there is a possibility that we could feel the world completely different. So I started thinking about this movie "Prime Songs".

This is the story about four women who were almost in their 40s.

The protagonists of the story are four women who had organized quartet (string quartet) in the music university in Tokyo. Those who have shared the youth ages through the music deeply now are now 37 years old.Each of whom is sending a daily life with some troubles . And one day, the sudden news that Mai, who was one of the quartet members, will get married arrives. That announcement begins to cause a small ripple on the life of the quartet fellow's Aiko, Yuki, and Kimie.
